Pro-Tec Piston Kits
Pro-Tec pistons are cast from
A-132 aluminum which allows even and equal expansion while operating. Heat
treated and precision cam ground for maximum durability and accurate fit.
Pro-Tec pistons can be used in all Yamaha 650, 701, 760, 1100 and 1200
engines.
All Pro-Tec piston kits include: Piston, rings, piston pin
and piston pin clips.

Pro-X
Pistons and Rings
The Pro-X pistons are cast according to original
specifications with performance upgrades to enhance reliability. The
aluminum alloy used in the manufacturing of Pro-X pistons maintains or
exceeds factory specifications. The eutectic alloy contains a substantial
silicone content for maximum strength and performance. Pro-X pistons are
lightweight and precision ground on CNC machinery. All pistons are
available in standard sizes along with fractional increases in size if
boring is necessary. Pro-X, the smart solution for engine upgrades and
