The new Pro-Tec intake manifold for the XL1200 LTD and GP1200R is
developed for the rider that wants to use standard
Mikuni carbs. Our manifold features the famous Pro-Tec X-Pattern Mounting
which allows the carbs to be mounted in-line or
parallel. Anodized black for a lasting finish. Each manifold includes
studs, washers, nylock nuts and throttle cable bracket.

CarbonTech now offers two new reeds for the GP1200R and we have them in
stock. The low tension reeds are recommended for
stock engines for improved bottom and mid-range power with about a mile
per hour top speed loss. The high tension reeds are for engines with any
form of modification. If used in a stock engine there will be a slight
loss in bottom and mid-range power with a gain of about one mile per hour
on the top. Just remember three things - combination, combination,
combination! |
